Contact Support

Contact Support function allows the app user to communicate to the Check Engine Technical Team regarding issues, questions and/or suggestions. This feature is not available by default and is only available by following the steps outlined below.

Allow sending support e-mail

Support E-mails can be sent to support@checkengine.me by checking the check box under SETTINGS > GENERAL SETTINGS > ALLOW SENDING SUPPORT E-MAILS.

The E-mail icon will be displayed on the main menu screen on the next successful app connection.

Sending support e-mail

The Contact Us app screen is displayed when the E-mail icon is clicked from the main menu screen.

E-mail Type can be one of Errors/Anomalies Report, Suggestions/Comments, Questions/Inquiry.

The Attach Log Files check box is checked by default. To send a valid and up-to-date log file, the enable file logging option must be checked in settings and log cache cleared.

Clear log cache and enable logging

The Confirmation Box is displayed in General Settings when the "Do you want to clear cache?" option is clicked. It is also required to check the "Enable file logging" check box after cache has been cleared if it is not already checked.

WARNING : The enable logging option should only be used sparingly as it generate large volumes of log files and may hamper the performance of the app and the mobile device as a whole.
